Bruker completa la compra de Alicona Imaging

Imagen: Bruker completa la adquisición de Alicona Imaging (Fotografía cortesía de iStock).Bruker Corporation (Billerica, MA, EUA) completó la adquisición, previamente anunciada, de Alicona Imaging GmbH (Raaba, Austria), un proveedor de productos de metrología basados en óptica.

Bruker proporciona instrumentos científicos y soluciones analíticas y de diagnóstico de alto valor que permiten a los científicos explorar la vida y los materiales a nivel molecular, celular y microscópico. Los productos y soluciones de la compañía encuentran aplicación en la investigación molecular de ciencias de la vida, farmacéutica, microscopía y nanoanálisis, industrial, así como en biología celular, imágenes preclínicas, investigación de fenómica clínica e investigación en proteómica y microbiología clínica. Alicona es un proveedor de soluciones de medición de superficie óptica en 3D para el aseguramiento de la calidad en el laboratorio y en la producción. Su competencia clave reside en la medición de la forma y la aspereza de geometrías incluso miniaturizadas y complejas.

Los productos de metrología óptica 3D de Alicona complementan el paquete de productos de microscopía de fuerza atómica (AFM, por sus siglas en inglés), microTC, perfilador de lápiz óptico e interferometría de luz blanca. La oferta de productos combinados amplía el alcance de la aplicación de Bruker y ofrece a los clientes una selección aún más completa de soluciones de metrología complementarias para satisfacer sus necesidades de investigación de materiales, ingeniería y garantía de calidad de alta precisión.
