Representando al primer asistente inteligente de la nueva plataforma AI-Rad Companion, AI-Rad Companion Chest CT, ayuda a los radiólogos a interpretar imágenes del tórax (pecho) rápidamente con la exactitud y precisión deseadas, y documenta automáticamente estos hallazgos como informes estructurados.

Los algoritmos en AI-Rad Companion Chest CT fueron entrenados en extensos conjuntos de datos y revisados por especialistas clínicos calificados para proporcionar segmentación, medición y resaltado de estructuras anatómicas clave, para apoyar el análisis cuantitativo y cualitativo. Usando imágenes de TC del tórax, el AI-Rad Companion Chest CT diferencia entre varias estructuras en esa región, incluidos los pulmones, el corazón y la aorta, las resalta individualmente y marca y mide anormalidades potenciales, como las calcificaciones coronarias.

Es compatible con una variedad de tareas, incluida la detección automática de lesiones, localización de anomalías y medición de lesiones pulmonares; cuantificación de parénquima de baja atenuación por lóbulo; visualización mejorada de lesiones pulmonares; segmentación automática de lóbulos pulmonares y visualización mejorada del parénquima de baja atenuación; segmentación y medición de diámetros máximos de la aorta torácica; cuantificación del volumen total de calcio en las arterias coronarias; y la detección de nueve puntos de referencia anatómicos identificados por las pautas de la Asociación Americana de Cardiología (AHA).

Con base en el análisis respaldado por IA, AI-Rad Companion Chest CT genera automáticamente informes estandarizados, reproducibles y cuantitativos en formato SC de imágenes digitales y comunicaciones en medicina (DICOM). Además de reducir el tiempo dedicado a la documentación de resultados manuales, los radiólogos pueden acceder a estos informes en el sistema de archivo y comunicación de imágenes (PACS) en la rutina clínica. El AI-Rad Companion Chest CT también resalta los cambios clínicamente relevantes potenciales que, de otro modo, podrían pasar desapercibidos porque no eran la indicación principal para el examen.
