The GIOTTO CLASS is a breast tomosynthesis device offering various diagnostic solutions such digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT), synthetic 2D mammography, in which 2D images are created from 3D tomosynthesis datasets, and biopsy procedures, including tomo-based biopsy. It is built on the amorphous selenium-based digital detector technology and acquires images in a step-and-shoot mode with a 30 degree angle with only 11 exposures required.
