Direct LDL Assay
Direct LDL-C

The Denka Direct LDL assay accurately measures low-density lipoproteins (LDL) in the specimen using a two step procedure based on patented technology. In the first step, non-LDL lipoproteins, including chylomicrons, VLDL, IDL and HDL, are decomposed by cholesterol esterase and cholesterol oxidase. The hydrogen peroxides produced are finally decomposed by the action of catalase. In the second step, an LDL-specific surfactant is used to release the cholesterol and similar enzymatic degradation in the presence of peroxidase to produce a measurable purple-red color on any clinical chemistry analyzer.

Strep B Latex Test
Strep B Latex Test

The Strep B Latex Test is a direct 10-minute slide latex agglutination for the identification of pregnant women at a risk of passing group B streptococcal infections to infants. Its sensitivity is 106 CFU/ml and predictive values for negative and positive results are 99.8% and 65.2%.

sdLDL Assay
s LDL-EX

The s LDL-EX assay quantitatively determines small, dense low-dense lipoproteins (sdLDL), a subfraction of LDL associated with an increased risk for cardiovascular disease (CVD). The test can be run on any standard clinical chemistry analyzer and gives results within 10 minutes.

H.pylori-Latex Test
H.pylori-Latex

The H.pylori-Latex antibody kit is intended to detect anti-Helicobacter pylori antibodies in serum or plasma by latex-enhanced turbidimetric immunoassay. It is for meant for use on automated chemistry analyzers and allows a large number of specimens to be processed in a short time.

E. coli Test
E. coli O157 Latex Test

The E. coli O157 Latex Test LPS utilizes antigen extraction procedure based on a colony sweep method from selective media for more sensitive and cost-effective screening, giving results in as little as 10 minutes. The risk of laboratory infection is decreased while increasing specificity for colony sweeping and direct stool screen when acute infection is suspected.

LDL Assay
LDL-EX (N)

The LDL-EX (N) assay accurately measures low-density lipoproteins (LDL) in the specimen using a two step procedure based on patented technology. Elevated LDL is a major cause of coronary heart disease (CHD) and recent clinical trials have shown that LDL-lowering therapy reduces risk for CHD.

HDL Assay
HDL-EX (N)

The HDL-EX (N) assay accurately measures High-density lipoproteins (HDL) in the specimen using a two step procedure based on patented technology. Monitoring HDL levels is clinically important since an inverse relationship exists between its level and the risk of atherosclerotic disease.

Turbidimetric Immunoassay Test
CysC-Latex

The CysC-Latex is an easy-to-use latex-based Turbidimetric Immunoassay Test for the accurate measurement of Cystatin C in blood and can be used in various automated clinical chemistry analyzers. The test uses latex particles coated with anti-human Cystatin C which form a complex with the Cystatin C present in a blood sample (serum or plasma).

Latex Test
S.aureus Latex Test

The S.aureus rapid slid latex test makes it possible to differentiate S. aureus from other staphylococcal bacteria in two minutes. The test uses latex particles sensitized with fibrinogen and rabbit plasma and its agreement with the coagulase test is also excellent.

Immunoassay Test Kits
Latex-enhanced TIA

The Latex-enhanced TIA (latex-enhanced turbidimetric immunoassays) for specific serum proteins provides rapid and highly accurate results on most automated clinical chemistry analyzers. Through the use of well-selected latex particles and antibodies (antigens), all assays possess excellent sensitivity and specificity, comparable to other methodologies with dedicated instruments.
